Marios is a veteran designer, tutor and mentor, and a recipient of seminal international awards. He studied Graphic design in Brighton under Alan Kitching and Master of Arts at Central St. Martin’s, University of the Arts London under Jon Warwicker of design group Tomato. Following positions at Michael Peters London, OgilvyOne Athens and Geo Young&Rubicam, he founded agencies Linakis.digital and Sputnik Design Team serving iconic brands in Europe and the Middle East from studios in Athens and Cairo. Marios is awarded with D&AD pencils, ED Awards, Red dot, German Design awards, SOTD Awwwards and Greek Design Awards (ΕΒΓΕ).

Marios is a public speaker at design fora including Behance portfolio reviews, Microsoft Devdays, Design Athens, Digitized, Greek Graphic Designers Association and Athens University Career days. He has served as jury member at Cannes Young Lions, ED Awards, Epica, Greek Design Awards (ΕΒΓΕ) and Ermis Awards and taught graphic design and typography for over a decade at Athens art schools. He has shown work at EMST National Museum of Contemporary Art, Benaki museum, Étapes magazine, The Greek Foundation, AIGA Eye on Design, and Typo 365 and in 2022 teamed up with Greek design publication +Design to create Design Masters, a learning platform offering masterclasses by leading designers.

On a personal note Marios hopes to retire to the Norfolk countryside growing raspberries and rhubarb, or the windswept peaks of the Peloponnese raising goats and churning feta.
