Dennis Elbers is the founder and director of Graphic Matters (NL). He's fascinated by the impact of visual culture on our daily life. With Graphic Matters, he presents the work of visually wayward, societally involved and/or critical designers. With exhibitions, workshops, open calls, and education Graphic Matters incites professionals and youth to critically examine visual culture. For Dennis being able to view and visualize is just as important as reading and writing. Graphic Matters promote connection, independence and equality in society by stimulating visual literacy.

Since 2007 the course of Graphic Matters has changed by (audience) research, evaluation and learning from practice. This was a struggle for years as commercial business models don't fit cultural (and socially involved) organizations. Dennis will share insight on how the recently developed Social Profit Canvas (by Whise) helps to define your goals and find the right audience and partners.
