Exhibition

Jan Hollender was a Polish graphic designer who created designs for logos, letterheads, posters, and book covers. He became an authority in design and typography and inspired many new generations of designers.

He opened his first studio before World War II in Katowice. He was the initiator and commissioner of the First National Exhibition of Graphic Signs, the biggest review of this type of graphic design in Poland. He created many iconic graphic signs, including those for Pekao (1956), Tarchomińskie Pharmaceutical Works "Polfa" (1956), the Children's Health Center in Warsaw (1972), the "Pronit" Record Factory (1959), and "Projekt" (1962).

There will be a selection of projects, including original designs and previously unpublished materials in the Warsaw edition of the exhibition.
